Be Part of The Vision

People contribute to the life and work of the church in many different ways. Whilst the information below relates to financial giving, other pages on this site explain the variety of ways you can get involved and contribute to the church’s many activities.

How can I give to the work of John Knox?

Giving regularly

By setting up a standing order with your bank – contact us and we will send you a form.

An offering is taken at Sunday services.

Through your employer’s payroll giving scheme (this only applies if your employer runs such a scheme – your Human Resources department can provide details on this).

Other ways to give

If you would like to send us a cheque or a giving voucher, please send it to the Treasurer and make it payable to John Knox Parish Church. Our address is on our contact page.

You can give in the form of quoted shares and other securities (which entitles you to tax relief).

Legacy - you may also like to consider making a donation to John Knox in your will. Please ask your solicitor when you make or change your will, or ask us for more information.

Tax Efficient Giving

If you are a UK taxpayer then Gift Aid means that for every £1 you give, John Knox can claim an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue – at no extra cost to you.

Fill in, sign and return to us a Gift Aid declaration (contact us and we will send you a form) if you have not done so already.

If you have any questions on these or other ways of giving, please contact the Covenant Convener by writing to: Covenant Convener, John Knox Church, High Street, Stewarton, Ayrshire, KA3 5BZ.
