The Kirk Session is the decision-making body of the church and is made up of a group of elders and chaired by the minister.

This single body of the Kirk Session and its constituent Special Interest Groups (SIGs) oversee both civil and ecclesiastical issues, which include everything from property to pastoral care and from finance to vision for the future.
